Role: Middleware Engineer
Duration: 12 Months (renewable)
Location: Singapore
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical SME for file-transfer and message-stream solutions (e.g., IBM Connect Direct, IBM MQ).
- Provide expertise in troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis.
- Implement and deploy middleware on Linux and Windows systems.
- Ensure the implementation of service continuity measures, including high-availability (HA) procedures and Disaster Recovery plans.
Essential:
- Build a seamless File-Transfer-as-a-Service and Message-Streaming capability on the Private Cloud platform.
- Automate middleware deployment processes.
- Participate in projects and provide middleware support to application teams
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- At least 6 years relevant experience preferably in a Finance Institution.
Essential:
- Build a seamless File-Transfer-as-a-Service and Message-Streaming capability on the Private Cloud platform.
- Automate middleware deployment processes.
- Participate in projects and provide middleware support to application teams.
Key Domain/ Technical Skills:
- IBM Connect Direct and IBM MQ
- Linux and Windows system administration
- Windows PowerShell and RHEL shell scripting
