. Design, architect and implement the Middleware solutions (IBM WTX, IBM MQ/MQFTE, Kafka, Apache Tomcat, Oracle WebLogic) to meet business demands including performance tuning, upgrades, clustering,redundancy and disaster recovery.
. Provide subject matter expertise and represents the highest level of technicalescalation for middleware technologies.
. Consult with and serve as liaison for end users and application developers in thesupport of mission critical applications
. Coordinate with external trading partners to establish middleware and EDI connections,document requirements, and facilitate testing and certification processes.
. Develop and maintain EDI maps, transformations, and data mappings to enable seamlessdata exchange between internal systems and external partners.
. Ensure the reliability, availability, and security of middleware systems, andproactively monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implementcorrective actions in conjunction with the appropriate IT and businessresources.
. Stay updated with middleware standards, industry trends, and emerging technologies,and propose new and innovative solutions to improve middleware processes andenhance data exchange capabilities.
. Provide technical expertise and support to resolve complex middleware-related issuesand serve as an escalation point for production support tickets.
. Monitor and provide support to all middleware production processes.
. Analyse all middleware implementations and recommend improvements to processes andcoordinate with the applications to resolve all issues effectively.
. Supervise the running and processing of all middleware services from and to variousapplications based on our corporate schedules.
. Oversee middleware development and support teams, providing guidance, mentorship, andtechnical expertise as the opportunity presents itself.
. Document, track, monitor and escalate support requests to ensure resolution.
. Develop and maintain middleware policy and guidelines to meet these standards.
. Interact with providers, vendors, and internal departments to provide level 3 supportand to address technical and procedural issues related to middleware.
. Support the present business practices and processes and find ways to improve themthrough a continuous performance improvement review.
Requirements
. Provide L3 Middleware support
. Minimum 10 years experience in a production IT environment managing enterprise Middleware technologies (IBM WTX, IBM MQ/MQFTE, Kafka, Apache Tomcat, Oracle WebLogic & etc ) tools including automated testing and monitoring tools.
. Experience in executing projects, including planning and implementing short-term and long-term work plans and successfully completing projects on schedule.
. Hands-on experience with file transmission protocols (e.g., FTP/Secure FTP, VPN) and automation tools and expert-level knowledge of eligibility file formats, data mapping, and systems integration.
. Knowledge of cloud-based technology (KAFKA) environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
. Mastery of data transformation and validation logic.
. Familiarity with API-based data exchange and integration solutions.
. Proficiency in SQL for advanced data querying, analysis, and troubleshooting eligibility data discrepancies.
. Well versed in SLA fulfillment, ticketing and escalation.
. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Accepts ownership and welcomes responsibility.
