Qualifications and Requirements

• 2-8 years of experience in commodity markets, preferably in a Trading Assistant, Middle Office, or Operations support role, with exposure to derivatives and/or physical commodities.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and Excel skills, with experience using commodity trading, execution, clearing, and market-data systems.
• Experience with trade, position, and valuation reconciliations involving clearing houses, brokers, fund administrators, and other counterparties.
• Detail-oriented, results-driven, and able to make sound, timely decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal teams and external counterparties.
• Experience with Asian commodity exchanges and commodity-related compliance is preferred.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Support daily commodity trading operations, including trade capture, trade lifecycle management, reconciliations, break investigation, and resolution.
• Develop a strong understanding of the firm's front-to-back operational processes, proprietary systems, and reporting tools to provide effective support to Front Office and other internal stakeholders.
• Work closely with Portfolio Managers, executing and clearing brokers, prime brokers, fund administrators, and other counterparties to maintain accurate and timely processing.
• Support the onboarding of new products, exchanges, brokers, accounts, and operational workflows.
• Identify and implement process improvements, including the adoption of new technology and automation opportunities.
