Key responsibilities

  • Trade Processing & Lifecycle Management: Process and monitor OTC derivative trades from execution through confirmation and settlement, covering IRS, asset swaps, caps/floors, inflation swaps, swaptions, cross-currency swaps, and swap ETFs.
  • Reconciliation & Settlement: Perform daily matching, manage cash flows, coupons, corporate actions, SSIs, collateral/margin, and resolve trade breaks, cash discrepancies, and settlement issues with counterparties.
  • Reconciliation & Reporting: Perform daily/monthly reconciliations across cash, securities, OTC derivatives, positions, cash flows, futures margins, and fund accounts investigate discrepancies and coordinate with custodians and Fund Accountants through resolution.
  • Operations & Governance: Prepare stakeholder reports, maintain KPIs and procedures, support regulatory filings and audits/inspections, and drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational projects.
  • Controls & Process Improvement: Validate trade data and operational controls, maintain audit trails, support regulatory reporting, investigate incidents, and drive process improvements to reduce operational breaks.

Role requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in middle/back-office operations, with strong knowledge of OTC derivatives, particularly swaps.
  • Hands-on experience in complete trade life cycle management which includes trade processing, confirmations, settlements, and reconciliation of trades, cash, and positions.
  • Highly analytical, proactive, and self-motivated and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with strong technical proficiency in Excel, VBA, and AI tools considered an advantage.
