My client is a leading energy commodities companies, they are looking for a Middle Office Analyst to join the team, responsible for P&L production, market risk and credit risk management.
about the job
- Produce and consolidate daily P&L reports for various trade books, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and providing regular summary reports to key stakeholders
- Validate physical commodity and derivative trades, own the maintenance of price curves, and manage relationships with clearing brokers and banks
- Monitor trading activity to identify and report unusual trends, and support both market and credit risk monitoring processes
- Resolve P&L-related queries from traders and other departments, work with Treasury to manage IR and FX impacts, and collaborate with Finance for month-end closing processes
- Propose and implement new, innovative, and more efficient methods for processes and calculations

skills and experience required
- At least 2 years of related experience within commodity trading environment
- P&L experience
- Experience in Power BI/Tableau/Python/Data analytics etc is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
