Mid-Level Automation & Control Systems Engineer

Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Engineer to design, code, and commission thecontrol systems for our marine electrical equipment. You will be responsiblefor integrating PLC/inverter drive logic with real-world mechanical equipmentto ensure safe and efficient marine operations.

Key Responsibilities:

. Logic Programming: Develop andmaintain PLC and HMI software for marine winches, cranes, and propulsionsystems.

. Drive Integration: Configureand fine-tune variable frequency drives (VFDs) and inverter systems to optimizeequipment performance.

. System Testing: Conductrigorous functional testing and simulation of control logic before shipboardinstallation.

. Commissioning: Providetechnical support during on-site commissioning, including troubleshootinghardware-software interface issues on vessels.

. Documentation: Maintain preciserecords of software versions, parameter settings, and technical manuals forequipment maintenance.

Requirements:

. Degree in Electrical,Electronics, or Computer Engineering.

. Proficiency in PLC programming(e.g., Siemens, Schneider, or Mitsubishi) and HMI development.

. Understanding of powerelectronics and variable speed drives.

. Ability to read and interpretelectrical schematic drawings.

. Willingness to travel foron-site marine commissioning as required.
