This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced credit risk professional to join a high-performing and evolving Risk Portfolio Management (RPM) function. Group RPM comprises of a broad range of functions primarily focused on credit portfolio management across banking subsidiaries within OCBC Group. This position is under the Credit Risk Modelling (CRM) team within Group RPM.

What You Do
- Implement and maintain ratings and risk analytics system infrastructure supporting the Consumer, Small Business and Wholesale segments of the Group
- Develop and maintain user requirements, parameters and configurations of systems housing the models.
- Collaborate closely with IT to resolve data or system related issues.
- Work alongside modelling analysts and IT to ensure requirements are clearly understood, documented, tested, and implemented within expected timeline.
- Implement controls and preventive measures to ensure adequate controls in key processes and monitor to ensure compliance.
- Identify areas for productivity improvement and implement changes to increase department's effectiveness and drive quality excellence.
About The Team
CRM is a high-profile, multi-disciplinary risk analytics team that covers credit risk models at OCBC Group. The key functions CRM performs include developing, implementing and managing various types of credit risk models, such as Credit risk Scorecards, Internal Rating models, IFRS 9 based Expected Credit Loss models, Credit Stress Testing models, Economic Capital models and Machine Learning models that support Group's credit risk measurement. These models are embedded in credit underwriting, customer selection, limit setting, early warning and problem recognition, as well as assessment of capital and provision adequacy.
Experience
Who you are
- Senior Analyst: 3-5 years of relevant experience in a related field.
- Lead Analyst: 5-7 years of relevant experience in a related area.
Qualification
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Technical Expertise
- Strong proficiency in data manipulation and quantitative analysis tools such as SAS and Python, as well as experience with leading database environments (Teradata, Cloudera Hadoop, SQL).
- Sound knowledge of banking data architecture and data warehouse systems.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, and Spark as well as DevOps tools such as Jira, Jenkins and Git.
- Experience in production deployment and maintenance of credit risk rating solutions, including UAT execution, post-production checks, and coordination with IT for system changes and enhancements.
Soft Skills
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives effectively.
- A collaborative team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating strong organizational and meticulous attention to detail.
