As a Technician, Metrology (AQP), you will support new product introduction (NPI) activities by providing accurate measurement, inspection, and data analysis throughout the product development lifecycle. This role plays a key part in ensuring product quality and readiness for manufacturing.

You will be part of the Advanced Quality Planning (AQP) team in Molex Singapore, working closely with Product Design, Manufacturing, Process, and Quality teams to support successful product launches.
What You Will Do
- Perform inspection, measurement, data analysis, and reporting to support NPI projects
- Develop and execute measurement programs, inspection gauges, and fixtures
- Conduct Measurement System Analysis (MSA), capability studies, and statistical analysis
- Update and maintain quality documentation such as inspection checklists, control plans, and SOPs
- Review engineering drawings and highlight potential dimensional or specification issues
- Extract historical quality notifications and lessons learned to support design reviews
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- NITEC in Engineering or a related technical field
- Fundamental knowledge of metrology tools and GD&T concepts
- Ability to work independently with good organization and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving capability and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
What Will Put You Ahead
- Diploma or background in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in a laboratory, metrology, or NPI environment
- Hands-on experience with vision measurement systems
- Familiarity with 3D CAD models and engineering drawings
- Experience using statistical software such as Minitab

A work week is defined from Monday to Sunday where Saturday is considered as off day and Sunday is rest day. For all working shifts except for 3T2S shift, Sunday shall be a rest day and all other non-working days shall be off days. For 3T2S shift, rest day and off days are as per working schedule.
