Our Client is looking for a MES Engineer to maintain and improve both hardware and software systems that support the semiconductor production operations.
Job scope
Hardware Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform daily monitoring and maintenance of production system hardware.
- Troubleshoot and fix technical issues to minimize factory downtime.
Software System Integration
- Maintain and support Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) that monitor chip production.
- Connect machines, sensors (IoT), and ERP systems (e.g. SAP) to ensure automatic and accurate data flow.
- Ensure MES operates smoothly and supports daily manufacturing processes.
Business & Operational Support
- Work closely with production, engineering, and IT teams to translate process needs into system solutions.
- Document system processes, create user guides, and conduct MES user training.
- Develop simple reports and dashboards showing key performance indicators (KPI) such as output, downtime, and quality metrics.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3 years experience in software/system support within a manufacturing environment.
- 1 year experience with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and basic troubleshooting skill set
