MEP Supervisor - HVAC

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee HVAC construction and installation activities.
• Supervise installation of AHUs, MAUs, fan coil units, ductwork, fans, fire/smoke dampers, chilled water (CHW) piping, condenser water piping, and associated HVAC equipment.
• Coordinate HVAC works with cleanroom, architectural, structural, and other MEP systems.
• Review HVAC drawings, specifications, and method statements for site execution.
• Monitor duct air leakage testing, insulation application, piping pressure testing, flushing, and chemical cleaning.
• Coordinate testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB), air balancing, water balancing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, manpower, materials, workmanship, and construction progress.
• Identify and resolve site coordination, clash, and interface issues.
• Monitor defects, punch-list items, and outstanding works through to completion.
• Ensure HVAC works comply with project safety, quality, and schedule requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or relevant technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant HVAC/MEP/EPC construction experience.
• Certified in MOM-accredited safety courses (e.g., BCSS / SSSC) possession of CSCPM, Work-at-Height (WAH) Supervisor, or relevant industry certifications will be an added advantage.
• Bilingual capability in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) is an advantage for on-site coordination with diverse project teams and trade contractors.
• Proven ability to oversee HVAC installation and site construction activities.
• Experience supervising HVAC subcontractors and site workers.
• Able to read and interpret HVAC drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, or industrial projects will be an advantage.
• Hands-on knowledge of HVAC testing, air balancing (TAB), and commissioning is preferred.
