MEP Supervisor - EE (Electrical)

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee electrical power and lighting construction and installation activities.
• Supervise installation of HT/LT switchboards, transformers, UPS systems, generators, distribution boards (DBs), busducts, cable trays/ladders, conduits, cables, and earthing/lightning protection systems.
• Supervise cable pulling, dressing, glanding, termination, megger insulation testing, and equipment power hook-ups.
• Coordinate electrical works with mechanical, process, architectural, and structural systems.
• Review electrical single-line diagrams (SLDs), layout drawings, specifications, and method statements for site execution.
• Coordinate electrical statutory inspections, high-voltage/low-voltage testing, primary/secondary injection tests, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, manpower, workmanship, and construction progress.
• Identify and resolve electrical interface, cable routing clashes, and site coordination issues.
• Ensure electrical works comply with project quality, Singapore Standards (SS CP 5), EMA regulations, safety, and schedule requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or relevant technical qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant electrical/MEP/EPC construction experience.
• Certified in MOM-accredited safety courses (e.g., BCSS / SSSC) possession of CSCPM or an EMA Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) license will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is preferred to facilitate seamless technical discussions and subcontractor management on site.
• Proven ability to oversee electrical site construction and cabling activities.
• Experience supervising electrical subcontractors and site personnel.
• Able to read and interpret electrical single-line diagrams (SLDs), wiring schematics, and layout drawings.
• Experience in semiconductor, industrial, or high-tech projects will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of electrical testing and commissioning procedures is preferred.
