Job Responsibilities

Supervise and oversee installation of Chemical Dispense Systems (CDS), Bulk Chemical Storage, Chemical Distribution Systems, and waste collection systems.
Supervise chemical distribution piping, double-containment (co-axial) piping systems, chemical storage tanks, chemical supply pumps, valve manifold boxes (VMB), and day tanks.
Supervise installation and integration of leak detection sensors, containment drainage, and chemical emergency stops.
Review chemical piping isometrics, P&IDs, containment layouts, specifications, and method statements.
Ensure proper routing, segregation, elevation separation, and physical protection of incompatible chemical lines.
Coordinate hydrostatic testing, pneumatic pressure testing, leak testing, flushing, de-ionized water cycling, and pre-commissioning.
Monitor subcontractor performance, manpower, workmanship, and construction progress.
Enforce hazardous chemical handling safety, hazardous zone requirements, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance, and environmental safety protocols.
Identify and resolve interface issues with process equipment hook-ups and industrial wastewater connections.

Requirements

Diploma or relevant technical qualification in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of relevant chemical distribution piping, process utility, MEP, or EPC construction experience.
Certified in MOM-accredited safety courses (e.g., BCSS / SSSC) possession of CSCPM, Hazardous Material Handling, or Confined Space Safety certifications will be an added advantage.
Bilingual communication skills in English and Mandarin are preferred for effective management of site safety permits and multi-tier sub-teams.
Proven ability to oversee chemical piping and double-containment installation activities on site.
Experience in semiconductor wafer fabs, advanced manufacturing, or pharmaceutical chemical systems is preferred.
Able to read and interpret chemical P&IDs, isometrics, and system schematic drawings.
Strong safety mindset, chemical hazard awareness, and site supervision skills.
