MEP BIM Modular Coordinator

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and manage BIM models for MEP services (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems)
• Prepare detailed shop drawings and coordinated drawings using BIM software (e.g. Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD)
• Perform clash detection and coordination with architectural and structural models
• Support modular construction / DfMA / PPVC by producing accurate prefabrication and installation drawings
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project teams on BIM and technical requirements
• Extract quantities, schedules, and reports from BIM models
• Ensure BIM deliverables comply with project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and LOD requirements
• Assist in construction planning and sequencing using BIM models
• Update models based on site changes and prepare as-built models
• Maintain proper documentation, model version control, and data management

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical), Building Services, BIM, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in MEP BIM modelling and coordination
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
• Familiar with BIM standards, LOD requirements, and BIM Execution Plans (BEP)
• Experience in modular construction / DfMA / PPVC projects is an advantage
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and coordination workflows
• Able to perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues independently
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Detail-oriented and able to meet project timelines
