Job Description

Company Description Quantum General Intelligence Inc. (QGI) develops intelligence systems where outcomes are visible, explainable, and accountable by design. Rather than optimizing for speed or volume of predictions, QGI focuses on resolving uncertainty into clarity before actions are taken. The company rejects opaque black box approaches, ensuring that decisions are never both unclear and final. At QGI, intelligence is expressed as the decision, the explanation, and the supporting evidence simultaneously. The organization is driven by a commitment to transparency, rigorous examination, and defensible results—only what can be seen.
Role Description The Member of the Board of Advisors is a contract, remote role focused on providing strategic guidance and specialized expertise to support QGI's mission and growth. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing company plans, research directions, and initiatives, and offering informed perspectives on risk, opportunity, and resource allocation. The advisor will participate in scheduled virtual board meetings, provide feedback on financial models, fundraising strategies, and market positioning, and help refine messaging to partners, investors, and stakeholders. This role also involves occasional one-on-one consultations with QGI leadership, introductions to relevant networks, and support in evaluating strategic partnerships and long-term value creation. Advisors are expected to maintain a high level of professional judgment, confidentiality, and commitment to QGI's principles of transparent, explainable intelligence.
Qualifications
  • Strong Finance and Analytical Skills to assess business models, investment needs, and long-term financial sustainability.
  • Research and Analytical Skills to evaluate emerging technologies, market trends, and strategic opportunities.
  • Fundraising and Finance experience to advise on capital strategy, investor relations, and resource allocation.
  • Marketing and Strategic Positioning skills to guide brand narrative, go-to-market strategy, and stakeholder communication.
  • Prior advisory, board, or executive-level experience in technology, AI, or related fields.
  • Ability to provide clear, evidence-based recommendations aligned with transparent and accountable decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working asynchronously with a distributed, remote team.
  • Advanced degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., business, economics, computer science, public policy) or equivalent experience is highly beneficial.
