Medical Social Worker

• Manage casework and provide support through comprehensive biopsychosocial-spiritual assessments and interventions for patients.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to assess and refer patients to appropriate programmes, including those offering financial assistance.
• Contribute to the planning, facilitation, and evaluation of patient support groups and community outreach initiatives.
• Deliver psychoeducational sessions to patients, caregivers, healthcare staff, and the public through workshops and seminars.
• Support and participate in departmental and organisational projects and initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Social Work/ Post Graduate Diploma in Social Work with min. 2 years of social work experience.
• Excellent written and inter-personal communication skills.
• Effective clinical skills in assessment, intervention, casework and counselling.
