Medical Laboratory Technologist, Cytology

We are looking for medical laboratory technologist, preferably with experience in Cytology service.

His/her primary duties include receiving, processing and microscopic examination of specimens such as bodily fluids, semen. urine and etc. He / She would be required to interact with patients. He / she is required to participate in basic troubleshooting and conducting quality checks on work processes and laboratory equipment in the laboratory. This includes administrative duties such as proper documentations, filling and documentation records keeping.

He/she will need to comply with work policies, work instructions and quality requirements in alignment with local and international accreditation agencies.

He/she need to demonstrate professional attitude and behavior and work with the team.

He/she is expected to perform other duties as assigned by the department.

Requirements

• Degree in Biomedical Science or its equivalent
• Preferably with 1 - 3 years working experience in a Cytology Laboratory
• Preferably with relevant certification in Cytology.
• Able to communicate effectively and appropriately
• Able to work in teams as well as independently
• Able to multi-task and have good organisation skills

Working hours

Non-shift, 5 days per week
