About the Role
We are seeking a Medical Imaging Annotation Specialist with a radiology background to support the development of AI models for medical imaging analysis. The role involves reviewing and annotating CT scan datasets, ensuring high-quality labelling of anatomical structures and pathological findings. This position plays a critical role in improving model accuracy and reliability by providing clinically accurate annotations and quality control for training datasets.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyse CT scan images to identify anatomical structures and relevant pathological findings.
- Perform precise medical image annotations according to internal annotation guidelines.
- Ensure high accuracy and consistency in labelling imaging datasets used for AI model training.
- Conduct quality checks and revisions of existing annotations to correct inaccuracies.
- Collaborate with the AI/ML team to refine annotation guidelines and improve dataset quality.
- Assist in identifying model errors by comparing AI predictions with ground truth annotations.
- Maintain proper documentation of annotation protocols and findings.
- Provide clinical insight to improve imaging interpretation and labelling standards.
Requirements
- Degree in Radiography, Medical Imaging, Radiologic Technology, or a related healthcare field.
- 3+ years of experience in medical image annotation for AI/ML datasets and working with CT imaging in a clinical or diagnostic setting.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret CT scans, with strong knowledge of anatomy and radiological findings relevant to CT imaging.
- Experience using medical imaging and DICOM software (e.g., 3D Slicer, RadiAnt, OsiriX) and annotation tools.
- Familiarity with medical AI workflows and data labeling processes.
- High attention to detail, with strong communication and collaboration skills for working with technical teams.
- Experience with cardiovascular CT or coronary imaging is a plus.
