Media Relations & Corporate Communications Manager

A well-established Singapore-headquartered consumer group is seeking a Manager / Senior Manager, Corporate Communications & Media Relations to strengthen its brand reputation and media engagement.

This role works closely with senior leadership to build a more proactive media presence and elevate the organisation's voice across lifestyle and mainstream platforms. We are looking for a communications professional who is comfortable operating in a lean, locally grounded environment. This opportunity may particularly appeal to individuals from PR or media agencies looking to move in-house, with the opportunity to play a key role in shaping brand narrative.

Responsibilities

You will lead media relations and communications initiatives, identifying opportunities to position leadership in media features, interviews and speaking platforms. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will craft compelling narratives, manage the communications calendar and support PR around key initiatives and events.

You will also build and maintain relationships with journalists across lifestyle media, helping position the organisation as a trusted voice in the industry.

Requirements

Individuals with 68 years of experience in PR, media relations or corporate communications will be well suited. Candidates from local PR agencies or media organisations with strong journalist networks will be particularly relevant.

Strong writing ability, media instincts and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a hands-on environment will be important. Experience in consumer-facing sectors such as lifestyle brands will be advantageous.
