Media & Events Executive

Job Scope & Responsibilities

1. Event Coverage & On-Ground Reporting

• Attend biotech, healthcare, pharma, medtech and AI events across Singapore

• Cover conferences, forums, exhibitions, and networking sessions

• Capture key insights, speaker highlights, and industry trends from events

• Coordinate with internal teams for event schedules and coverage plans

2. Interviews & Social Media Content

• Conduct short interviews with industry professionals, speakers, and exhibitors

• Assist in recording video snippets and collecting quotes for social media platforms

• Support post-event content such as reels, short videos, and interview summaries

• Help publish and optimise content for LinkedIn and other digital platforms

3. Research & Content Contribution

• Research biotech, pharma, medtech, and healthcare industry developments

• Assist in drafting articles, event reports, news features, and industry updates

• Contribute written content for digital platforms and publications

• Support editorial planning with topic ideas and background research

4. Database Management & Lead Collection

• Collect and maintain databases of industry contacts, speakers, companies, and partners

• Organise event attendee information and follow-up details

• Support CRM and audience database updates

5. Relationship Building & Industry Engagement

• Build and maintain professional relationships with industry stakeholders

• Represent the organisation at networking sessions and meetings

• Support partnerships, collaborations, and media outreach initiatives

6. Team & Operational Support

• Assist senior team members with event coordination and logistics

• Support marketing and editorial teams with ad-hoc tasks

• Ensure timely reporting and documentation after events

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Fresher or early-career professional from a biotech / life sciences background

• Strong interest in biotech industry trends, media, and events

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Willingness to attend events and engage with industry professionals

• Basic writing skills and comfort with digital platforms (especially LinkedIn)

• Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn
