Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical and Mechatronic Technologist and Technician to contribute technical expertise to advanced AI training initiatives. In this remote role, you will apply hands-on knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, robotics, and mechatronics to help train, evaluate, and improve intelligent systems.
This position blends applied engineering experience with emerging AI technologies, offering a unique opportunity to shape how AI understands and interprets complex mechanical and electromechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and troubleshoot electro-mechanical and mechatronic components, providing structured technical feedback for AI training
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support AI modeling, simulation, and data annotation efforts
- Analyze system performance data and document findings with clarity and precision
- Interpret schematics, technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and system specifications to inform AI training datasets
- Apply industry standards and best practices to ensure accuracy in AI-supported technical workflows
- Provide insights on system optimization and operational efficiency to enhance AI learning outcomes
- Contribute to quality assurance processes to improve data integrity and model performance
- Communicate complex engineering concepts effectively in both written and verbal formats
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical systems, automation equipment, or mechatronic platforms
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostics, and system integration capabilities
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, technology-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience contributing to AI, automation, or data annotation projects
- Familiarity with PLCs, control systems programming, robotics software, or industrial automation tools
- Prior experience collaborating in distributed or cross-functional technical teams
