Mechanical Test Engineer

Responsibilities:
. Perform qualification testing of products or samples including preparation of test reports and recommendations based on findings.
. Conduct product testing in accordance with applicable standards, guidelines and regulations.
. Ensure proper upkeep of the test laboratory and compliance with lab operational requirements.
. Develop test scripts, manage issue tracking and oversee test management activities.
. Prepare test samples and coordinate with certification bodies for product certifications.
. Support product failure investigations by conducting root cause analysis and reporting.
. Actively participate in and manage assigned projects to ensure timely completion.
. Conduct evaluation and analysis of competitors products.

Requirements:
. Diploma/Degree in Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience preferably in test laboratory environments
. Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel, and CAD software
. Good knowledge of failure analysis for metals-based products
. Experience with testing or life cycle management tools will be an advantage
