A Snapshot of Your Day
At Siemens Energy, we are driving the energy transition by developing and manufacturing cutting-edge gas turbines and industrial heat pumps. Our gas turbines are pioneering the use of green fuels, while our heat pumps support the decarbonization of industrial and district heating systems. This rapid innovation brings exciting challenges-especially for our gas turbine measurement systems.
We are now looking for a Mechanical Engineer for Installation on Gas Turbines to join our team!
In this role, you will be part of the group responsible for installing measurement systems on our gas turbine products. Your daily tasks will include supporting the installation of various measurement probes and systems used in gas turbine testing. You will be involved in the setup, operation, and removal of these systems.
Since the measurement probes are mounted directly on the turbines, your work will also include assembling and disassembling turbine subcomponents such as blades, vanes, combustion chambers, and burners. You will be responsible for installing cables and physical measurement chains that connect the probes to data acquisition systems.
