Mechanical Technical Officer (West)

Job Responsibilities

• Lead technicians for rectification works
• Liaising and managing external vendors and contractors
• Carrying out maintenance, repairing and servicing tasks on mechanical system
• To carry out preventive / breakdown and corrective maintenance
• Attend to defects and requests promptly
• Ensuring safety while carrying out of maintenance work
• Preparing of technical reports on breakdown and proposals
• Review and tracking of work progress
• Prepare and create detailed work schedule, manpower and resource planning
• Able to understand engineering drawings and basic engineering code of practice
• Coordinate safety management systems on-site
• Prepare and create detail work schedule, manpower and resource planning
• Able to understand engineering drawings and basic engineering calculation and code of practice
• Coordinate safety management system on site
• All other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by reporting engineer

Requirements

• NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years and above in Facilities Management environment is a must
• Honest, committed and hardworking individual
