I am seeking a strategic and technically astute Mechanical Manager to lead the mechanical systems lifecycle across our mission-critical data center portfolio. This role demands deep expertise in HVAC, chilled water systems, and energy optimization-paired with operational foresight to ensure 24/7 uptime, compliance, and scalability. You'll serve as the mechanical authority across design, commissioning, and live operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to future-proof our infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Lead mechanical systems strategy across multi-site data centers, aligned with Green Mark and SS 564 standards.
- Oversee HVAC, chilled water, and airflow systems to ensure uptime, energy efficiency, and compliance.
- Validate mechanical design, commissioning, and lifecycle planning with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure adherence to ASHRAE guidelines and local building codes manage RCA and audit readiness.
- Drive vendor performance, SOP/MOP execution, and service-level accountability.
- Mentor engineering teams and embed a culture of safety, resilience, and continuous improvement.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical systems management within mission-critical facilities (data centers, hospitals, etc.)
- Proven track record in HVAC design, chilled water systems, and BMS integration
- Familiarity with Tier III/IV data center standards and Uptime Institute protocols
- Strong command of CMMS platforms, energy modeling tools, and CFD analysis
