Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES include the following. Others may be assigned.

1. The incumbent shall oversee the maintenance of static and rotating equipment at the plant. These include pumps, compressors, agitators, vessels, exchangers, piping, valves, above-ground storage tanks (AST), pressure vessel and structural elements.

2. The incumbent will be a key custodian of plant maintenance programme and service records/logs are duly kept, and maintenance activities are safe and efficient with minimal disruption to plant operation. The programme shall cover scheduled preventive maintenance, condition monitoring and reliability and integrity analysis of equipment.

3.The incumbent will review and provide maintenance inputs on relevant mechanical design elements of new build equipment / asset enhancement activities and implementation of minor mechanical engineering projects, while ensuring the overall technical integrity of the plant from the mechanical engineering discipline perspective.

4. The incumbent shall be responsible for tasks and duties such as but not limited to the following:

4.1. Oversee all contract maintenance work at the plant to ensure compliance with facility standards and procedures and alignment to legislative guidelines and permit-to-work process.

4.2. Supervise the subcontractors processes and workflows and ensure safety and utilisation of relevant technology and equipment during maintenance work phase.

4.3. Support the procurement of tools, parts, spares and resources and update of spare inventory to facilitate the work process of the maintenance team.

4.4. Develop and update maintenance plan and schedule for relevant facilities and procedures within puts from other teams to minimise operation disruptions and redundant work.

4.5. Perform review and analysis of operating equipment and facilities to identify anomalies and propose improvement and mediations to extend equipment lifespan and reduce maintenance cost.

4.6. Review maintenance plans for compliance with Company's engineering standards and practices and ensure such standards and practices are aligned to legislative guidelines and industrial standards.

5. The incumbent shall also participate in emergency response procedures and be assigned to any specific roles and responsibilities for such purpose.

WORK SKILLS:

1.Practical experience in repair and maintenance of static and rotating equipment, reciprocating compressors, piping and valves are essential.

2.Conversant with local codes, regulations and standards, equipment inspection and schedule requirements. Knowledge on vibration and other analysis standards will be well regarded.

3.In addition, the successful candidate should possess the following personal attributes:

3.1. A team player who can work well in a team

3.2. High self-motivation with the ability to work with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities and assignments.

Diplomatic, pro-active and have excellent organizational and motivational skills to deliver world class maintenance performance.

Minimum 10 years experience in mechanical and maintenance function.

5 years supervisory experience in an oil and gas installation is critical to success.
