Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Supervisor | Plant / Petrochemical

Job Description

• Plan, coordinate and carry out mechanical maintenance activities for plant, production or industrial equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and repair works.
• Maintain mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, valves, piping, gearboxes, vessels, heat exchangers and related systems.
• Support equipment inspection, servicing, installation, modification and improvement works.
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, contractors and vendors to ensure smooth maintenance execution.
• Support plant shutdown, turnaround, breakdown recovery and equipment reliability activities.
• Investigate equipment issues and recommend corrective or preventive actions.
• Ensure maintenance works comply with safety, quality, environmental and company requirements.
• Prepare maintenance reports, work records, inspection checklists and technical documentation.
• Senior candidates may supervise technicians, contractors or maintenance activities.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in mechanical maintenance, plant maintenance, equipment maintenance or industrial maintenance.
• Candidates from chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, terminal, power plant, manufacturing or process industry are welcome.
• Hands-on experience with pumps, compressors, valves, piping, gearboxes, static or rotating equipment will be an advantage.
• Able to troubleshoot mechanical faults and provide practical solutions.
• Experience in contractor coordination, shutdown, turnaround or maintenance planning will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of permit-to-work, risk assessment or plant safety procedures is preferred.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Candidates with supervisory experience may be considered for senior roles.
