Mechanical Design & Drafting

• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Inventor)

• Ability to create and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

Machining & Fabrication

• Experience with lathes, milling machines, CNC machines

• Knowledge of welding, cutting, and assembly techniques

Materials & Metallurgy

• Understanding properties of metals, plastics, and composites

• Material selection for specific mechanical applications

Testing & Quality Control

• Use of precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)

• Conducting stress, fatigue, and performance testing

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Diagnosing mechanical failures in machinery and systems

• Preventive maintenance procedures

Instrumentation & Measurement

• Familiarity with sensors, gauges, and data acquisition systems

• Calibration and monitoring of mechanical equipment

Computer & Software Skills

• Familiarity with simulation software (ANSYS, MATLAB, SolidWorks Simulation)

• Basic programming for automation or machinery control
