Mechanical Engineer (Transformer)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our transformer manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting the manufacturing of mechanical components and structures for power transformers. This role ensures that all designs meet industry standards, technical specifications, and client requirements while supporting production efficiency and product quality.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D models, drawings, and technical documentation for transformer mechanical components and assemblies.

• Extract and compile parts information to generate accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and part lists.

• Design, develop, and plan the manufacturing processes for transformers and related mechanical equipment, components, and systems.

• Review, check, and approve mechanical, production, and fabrication drawings to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.

• Monitor and control fabrication schedules in accordance with production timelines to ensure on-time delivery.

• Provide technical support and guidance to the Production team on engineering and manufacturing matters.

• Coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure smooth project execution and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineeringor an equivalent qualification.

• Knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software, including AutoCAD 2D/3D.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in transformer manufacturing or heavy industrial equipment (fresh graduates with strong fundamentals are welcome to apply).
