Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design, development, coordination, and supervision of the ACMV system. This role requires strong technical competency, independent thinking, and problem-solving abilities to ensure successful project delivery. As a key member of our engineering team, you will gain exposure to local statutory requirements, industry standards, project management, equipment selection, and cost control.
Key Responsibilities
- Involved in design development drawings and material submissions for approval, QA/ QC works such as inspection, testing & commissioning, and handover of installation.
- Attend meetings and prepare reports for site progress and schedules. Coordinate the site safety management system.
- Liaise and coordinate ACMV installations with the main contractor, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Supervise and monitor daily site work done, and plan for catch-up as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Open to fresh graduates as well as candidates with relevant working experience.
- Position level and responsibilities will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience.
- Experience in ACMV, chilled water system installation, and design will be an advantage.
- Ability to perform basic engineering calculations with MS Excel.
- Effective communication and coordination skills to liaise effectively with the main contractor and subcontractors.
- Good understanding of engineering principles and drawings.
