Job Summary
Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of alternators, generators, and motors to ensure mechanical functionality and minimize downtime. Maintain accurate records of all tasks and corrective actions taken.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdown requests as directed by the supervisor
- Diagnose and analyze faults in alternators, generators, and motors to determine corrective actions for immediate equipment recovery
- Perform scheduled periodic maintenance and inspections on alternators, generators, and motors to ensure optimal operation
- Repair and recondition mechanical or hydraulic components of equipment to restore functionality
- Accurately complete and submit job record forms for each task performed to the supervisor
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum GCE O Level or equivalent with 2-3 years of mechanical repair experience on alternators, generators, motors, or related equipment (stated as minimum qualification)
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- NTC holder in Mechanical Engineering discipline with 1-2 years of related working experience (preferred but not essential)
