Role Description
A Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer designs, develops, and improves mechanical systems, components, and manufacturing processes. This role ensures products are efficient, reliable, and manufacturable while meeting quality, safety, and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical components, systems, or products using CAD software
- Conduct engineering analysis, simulations, and testing to validate designs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development, manufacturing, and prototyping
- Improve manufacturing processes, assembly techniques, and production efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and reports
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement solutions
- Support research and development (R&D) initiatives for new products or processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- 27 years of experience in mechanical design, product development, or manufacturing engineering
- Proficiency with CAD and engineering software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, Creo)
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of quality control, safety standards, and regulatory compliance
- Problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills
