Job Responsibilities
- Manage projects from quotation to completion, including onsite execution, cost control, invoicing and preparation of service reports.
- Lead and supervise technicians in engine repair, maintenance and overhaul works onboard vessels and at site.
- Perform hands-on dismantling, repair, replacement and reassembly of mechanical components.
- Troubleshoot machinery breakdowns, recommend repair solutions and ensure timely completion within schedule and budget.
- Liaise with customers and agents (local and overseas), plan job methodology and schedules, and enforce safe work practices through daily toolbox meetings.
Job Requirements
- Min Diploma in Marine or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of ship repair experience.
- Strong troubleshooting capability, hands-on experience in engine repair and overhaul, good project planning and customer liaison skills.
- Able to work independently and on-site/onboard vessels, adaptable to irregular hours.
