Mechanical Engineer

Job Responsibilites:

• Planning / Scheduling and coordination of M&E works
• Review and align M&E design drawings to ensure compliance with specification and guidelines
• Responsible for on-site technical & engineering matters and quality checks
• Oversee and ensure works is carried out in accordance with the approved drawings, materials and method statements
• Conduct joint inspections with RTO
• Ensure M&E works are performed on time and in compliance with all necessary standards, code of practice and safety regulation
• Coordinate and work closely with client, sub-contractors and project team to resolve all M&E drawings, site discrepancies and technical issues
• Manage M&E sub-contractor's work progress, drawings, materials, samples, method statements submission and approval
• Coordinate M&E works with Client's representative, consultants and sub-contractors on technical matters
• Attend project meetings liaise and coordinate with clients, consultants, relevant authorities and sub-contractors on M&E issues and challenge
• Assist Tender Team on any Tender Bidding when required

Job Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in related industry
• Possess good understanding of Singapore Code of Practice and Authority submission process.
• Able to communicate clearly with people at all levels about goals, responsibility, performance, expectations, and feedbacks
• Willing to work at Tuas area (West)
