Responsibilities:
- Able to lead, supervise and coordinate all fire protection system works (fire alarm, sprinkler, hydrant, hose reel, and suppression systems etc.)
- Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and authority requirements (SCDF, FSSD submissions etc.)
- Review drawings, specification and technical documents
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and relevant authorities to resolve design and site issues
- Conduct site inspections to ensure proper installation, testing and commissioning of fire protection systems
- Provide technical support during project execution and ensure timely delivery of fire-related works
- Prepare reports, method statements and documentation for submission
- Support safety compliance and risk assessments related to fire protection systems
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in fire services works
- Familiar with local regulations, SCDF Codes of Practice and FSSD submission procedures
- Strong problem-solving, coordination and communication skills
- Able to work independently and under pressure to ensure good site progress
- Good safety knowledge and attitude
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Self-motivated with good organizational skills and ability to liaise with the authorities
