Mechanical Engineer

Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role based in Singapore, with the option for some tasks to be completed remotely. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing and analyzing mechanical systems, developing innovative solutions, and creating machine designs using CAD software. The role involves conducting research and development activities to improve existing systems or develop new ones. The Mechanical Engineer will also assist in managing projects, ensuring timely delivery, and efficient communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Mechanical Engineering and an understanding of fundamental engineering concepts
• Experience in Machine Design and proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools
• Proven ability to manage projects effectively through Project Management skills
• Hands-on experience or aptitude in carrying out Research and Development (R&D) activities
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate in a hybrid work environment with strong communication and teamwork skills
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Previous experience in sustainable or eco-friendly product development is advantageous
