Mechanical Engineer

Our Client is seeking a motivated and skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting mechanical engineering operations, project execution, equipment management, and ensuring that all works are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise mechanical engineering works at project sites.
• Prepare and review mechanical drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring of work progress.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide effective engineering solutions.
• Support installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
• Prepare reports, documentation, and technical submissions as required.
• Ensure works comply with company standards and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred
• Good knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and engineering practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in construction, M&E works, industrial projects, or mechanical installation works.
• Knowledge of Singapore construction standards and safety requirements.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
