As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Plan and forecast weekly/monthly installation schedules
- Identify site issues and mitigate risks
- Coordinate with site PIC for work and manpower planning
- Arrange material/equipment delivery via MERF submission
- Attend regular project meetings (such as site progress and co-ordination) with interested parties including clients, architect, consultants, main contractor, and sub-contractors.
- Monitor, co-ordinate and direct the execution of work with site representatives and workers for smooth workflow.
- Submit method statements, risk assessments, and shop drawing
- Prepare progress reports and claims
- Ensure M&E design complies with client requirements and project specifications
- Perform inspections of delivered materials/equipment and check for defects
- Monitor site installation works to ensure quality and compliance
- Conduct joint inspections with client representatives
- Coordinate and oversee pre-testing and commissioning activities
- Clearance of defects and outstanding works.
- Prepare as-built drawings for joint inspection with clients representatives.
- Prepare Operation & Maintenance manuals for client's acceptance.
- Assist in the settlement of project final account including variation orders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
