Job Description

Our client, an established engineering company in Singapore, is seeking Mechanical Engineers (ACMV) to support the execution and coordination of Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation works for an upcoming project.

Job Responsibilities

Interpret contract specifications, drawings and client requirements for project execution.
Prepare method statements, shop drawings and inspection checklists.
Perform ACMV performance and static-pressure calculations.
Carry out kitchen hood selection, exhaust and staircase pressurisation calculations.
Assist with sizing and selection of FCUs and AHUs.
Perform calculations for ducting and chilled-water pipe sizing.
Coordinate ACMV installation works with architectural, electrical and plumbing trades.
Prepare technical submissions for variation orders, claims and project changes.
Support testing, balancing and commissioning activities.
Assist with preparation of as-built drawings.
Resolve technical and project coordination issues.

Job Requirements

ITE / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Knowledge of air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems.
Understanding of FCUs, AHUs, ductwork and chilled-water systems.
Relevant ACMV design, project or site exposure will be advantageous.
Fresh graduates with relevant Mechanical Engineering / ACMV training may be considered.
Good communication, problem-solving and coordination skills.
Able to work effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.

Annual bonus equivalent to approximately 1 month basic salary

S$50 monthly mobile allowance
14 days Annual Leave, increasing by 1 day for each completed year of service, up to 21 days
