Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Systems Specialist (Sustainability)

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented M&E Systems Specialist to provide technical guidance and operational support. This role centers on maintaining optimal performance of mechanical and electrical systems through expert analysis, project coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:
. Evaluate technical specifications in tender documents and maintenance contracts
. Oversee project commissioning through comprehensive site inspections and acceptance testing
. Develop strategic replacement plans for aging M&E equipment and systems
. Monitor electrical load capacity and system performance metrics
. Lead energy conservation initiatives through systematic audits and performance monitoring
. Coordinate improvement projects with multiple stakeholders
. Provide technical solutions for operational challenges in M&E systems

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Grade 7 Electrical License preferred
• 3-5 years of M&E systems experience
• You should come from a Property Management background
• Working knowledge of high/low voltage systems and SCADA
• Experience with energy management systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
