Responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans used in the production of mechanical components and products. They work closely with engineers and production teams to ensure designs are accurate, manufacturable, and meet required specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create 2D drawings using AutoCAD (e.g., AutoCAD)
- Prepare detailed fabrication and assembly drawings from customer supplied hand sketch or 3d drawings.
- Revise and update drawings based on engineering changes
- Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and company guidelines
- Collaborate/coordinate with customer and production teams
- Maintain organized records of drawings and design files
Requirements:
- Min Higher NITEC in Engineering, Drafting, or related field
- Basic Proficiency in CAD software
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
