Mechanical Designer

. Familiar with design automation, eg conveyor, palletiser

. Design using computer-aided design and drafting software (CAD, Solidworks)

. Take ownership of designs and drawings for projects assigned.

. Provide detailed designs from rough sketches and specifications

. Specify dimensions, materials and user manual for new products

. Prepare different versions of designs for review by management

. Prepare drawings for sheet metal components

. Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements

. Plan and coordinate own work as well as produce schedules for assigned tasks

. Collaborate with all project related personnel on site on day-to-day progress of work activities, procurement and operations to ensure timely completion of project

. Compile data and specifications sheets

. Accurately document and update information in written or electronic form
