Responsibilities
- Use Pro-E software to create detailed 3D part designs for machine components, ensuring accuracy and manufacturability
- Assemble 3D parts with standard purchased components to develop complete machine modules
- Design mechanical handling and automation systems that meet customer requirements and operational efficiency
- Integrate and assemble all designed modules into fully functional machines, conducting interference checks to ensure seamless operation
- Develop and propose innovative machine concepts in response to customer inquiries, aligning solutions with client needs
- Support machine assembly, troubleshoot technical issues, and perform on-site setup to ensure optimal machine performance
- Apply comprehensive mechanical engineering principles to solve design and operational challenges effectively
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Proficiency with Solidworks software to enhance mechanical component design capabilities
- Knowledge of mechanical components such as ballscrews, linear slides, solenoid valves, and cylinders
- Minimum of 3 years experience using 3D design software to develop mechanical parts and assemblies
