Job Responsibilities
- Translate customer requirements into detailed mechanical design specifications
- Develop and validate design concepts using engineering analysis (thermal, force, vibration, lifecycle)
- Select suitable materials (e.g. titanium, hardened steel) based on durability, application, and process compatibility
- Create 3D models, detailed drawings, and perform structural analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design for manufacturability and system integration
- Design precision tooling, fixtures, and mechanical modules for semiconductor applications
- Identify and resolve design issues, including drawing discrepancies and performance gaps
- Drive continuous improvement in design performance, cost efficiency, and reliability
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in mechanical design or precision engineering
- Strong knowledge of engineering materials and their applications
- Proficient in CAD or 3D design software
- Able to interpret engineering drawings and identify design issues accurately
