MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

• Basic Machine Design in Solid Edge, Solid Works or Autodesk Inventor
• Prepare mechanical part detailing and fabrication drawings
• Should be familiar with Sheet Metal Fabrication Drawings, Platforms and Structural Design and Drawings.
• Prepare Bill of Material (BOM)
• Inspect Incoming equipment and fabricated parts
• Visit customer site for preparing detail site drawings
• Coordination with sub-contractors for Equipment and fabricated items.
• Prepare Flow sheet for potential projects that company is bidding for
• Must be able to prepare P&ID for confirmed project before starting assembly and component level drawing / detailing
• Must be prepare a library of standard components and maintain up to date records

Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering
• Must be a team player and be self-motivated.
• Must have aptitude for Mechanical Design / Drawing
• Experience in using latest version of AutoCAD and Solid Edge Engineering Software
• Experience in Solids Handling or Material Handling Systems / Projects would be added advantage.
• Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.
