The Engineering Division conducts research and provides engineering services to the whole of DSO in the areas of digital and mixed- signal electronics/microelectronics, radio frequency (RF), electromagnetic interference (EMI)/electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), antennas, as well as mechanical and thermal engineering.

Mechanical and Thermal R&D Engineer
In This Role, You Will
- Participate in project activities involving multiple technical domains for new products development.
- Participate in new R&D initiatives to develop next-generation heat management technologies.
- Design and optimize for light-weight, compact mechanical and thermal solutions, such as cooling of high heat dissipating devices and modules.
- Perform FEA and CFD simulations with the use of commercial computational software.
- Develop product prototypes through assembly of mechanical parts, thermal components and conduct experiments to validate designs.
- Pursue and research on innovative solutions to meet future products demand.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Basic knowledge of heat transfer, thermal management and mechanical design.
- Basic proficiency in using thermal simulation software including FEA and CFD.
- Good verbal and written communications skills.
- Self-motivated and a good team player.
- Strong in analytical and problem-solving skills.
