About Our Client

Our client is an established financial institution with a growing investment banking presence in Asia. As part of its continued expansion, the organisation is looking to appoint a Head of Investment Banking, Singapore to lead and drive its local franchise, with potential to expand coverage across Southeast Asia.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for building client relationships, originating transactions, and shaping the strategic direction of the investment banking business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and drive the growth of the Investment Banking franchise in Singapore, with scope to expand across Southeast Asia

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships across both public and private sectors

• Originate and execute transactions across capital raising, advisory, and M&A

• Identify opportunities, generate transaction ideas, and advise clients on strategic initiatives

• Collaborate with internal teams to drive deal origination and execution

• Lead end-to-end project management of transactions, coordinating internal and external stakeholders

• Provide strategic direction for the investment banking business, with a focus on Singapore

• Partner closely with senior management and global stakeholders

• Build, lead, and inspire teams to achieve business objectives

Requirements

• 15+ years of relevant experience within Investment Banking, with strong Singapore market exposure

• Proven track record in deal origination, including IPOs, advisory, and M&A transactions

• Strong client network and relationship management experience in Singapore

• Good understanding of capital markets and investment banking products

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and execute opportunities

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills

• Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and driving business growth

• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to structure and execute complex transactions
