Mathematics & Science Teacher

Job Description

• Plan, prepare and deliver Mathematics and/or Science lessons in accordance with the school curriculum

• Develop lesson plans, teaching materials and assessments that cater to students of different abilities

• Manage classroom activities and maintain a positive learning environment

• Monitor and evaluate students academic progress, providing timely feedback and support

• Work closely with the academic team to ensure consistency and quality in teaching and learning

• Participate in academic meetings, training and school activities as required

• Uphold professional teaching standards and demonstrate responsibility, patience and care towards students

  Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or above in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Science, Engineering or related fields

  • Ability to teach effectively in English (Chinese language proficiency is an advantage)

  • Strong sense of responsibility, patience and care for students

  • Good communication and classroom management skills

  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment

  • Teaching experience in secondary or pre-university level is an advantage

  • Passion for education and continuous professional development
