Key Responsibilities
Material Planning
Review project drawings, BOQ (Bill of Quantities), and construction schedules to plan material requirements
Prepare material procurement schedules aligned with project timelines
Assist in preparing and updating project schedules and work plans
Track project activities, deadlines, and deliverables
Maintain planning documents, reports, and correspondence
Prepare progress summaries and administrative reports
Purchasing & Procurement
Source suppliers and obtain quotations for construction materials
Evaluate supplier pricing, quality, and delivery capability
Prepare and issue Purchase Orders
Coordinate with suppliers to confirm prices, delivery dates, and documentation
Follow up on orders and delivery status
Site Coordination
Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and warehouse on material requirements
Ensure materials delivered to site meet specifications and quality standards
Handle urgent material requests from site teams
Documentation & Record Keeping
Maintain organized records of purchases, contracts, invoices, and delivery notes
Ensure all procurement documents are complete and properly filed
Support audits and internal reviews by providing required documentation
