Hiring: Materials / Warehouse Assistant. Basic up to $2650!- 1 Year contract

Are you organised, hands-on and experienced in inventory or warehouse operations Join our team and play an important role in ensuring materials are properly received, stored and supplied to support daily production operations!

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.

• Organise and store materials in designated locations according to FIFO/FEFO requirements and storage specifications.

• Issue raw materials, packaging materials and consumables based on production and order requirements.

• Monitor inventory levels and promptly report low stock, shortages or material issues.

• Perform regular cycle counts and stock takes to maintain accurate inventory records.

• Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials and stock variances.

• Support daily warehouse, inventory and production operations to ensure materials are available when required.

• Maintain proper documentation and ensure materials are handled and stored safely.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, production or warehouse environment will be an added advantage.

• Comfortable working odd or rotating shift hours.

• Experience handling raw materials, inventory control and production support is preferred.

• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or similar inventory management systems is an advantage.

• Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail.

• Responsible, reliable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
