Our client is one of the world's most formidable architects of heavy machinery and large-scale infrastructure. Following their recent acquisition of a major high-profile project, this global industrial leader is looking to appoint a Material Controller on a 2-year renewable contract basis.

about the job

• Quality Assurance & Intake: Perform rigorous inspections of incoming materials to verify quantity, specification, and quality standards.

• Fulfillment Oversight: Orchestrate the end-to-end picking and packing workflow to ensure operational accuracy.

• Personnel Leadership: Direct and supervise warehouse staff, including pickers, packers, and forklift operators, to maintain high productivity.

• Inventory Integrity: Monitor real-time stock levels and conduct systematic cycle counts and periodic audits.

• Spatial Optimization: Design and manage warehouse layouts, ensuring efficient use of floor space and adherence to designated storage protocols.

• Documentation Management: Maintain comprehensive tracking and filing of all critical import/export and shipping documentation.

• Logistics Strategy: Design and schedule optimized transportation frameworks to enhance supply chain efficiency.

skills and experience required

• Diploma in any discipline
• Preferably candidates with at least 5 years of relevant material controller experience for project site
